Sixth Week of Teaching Practice

Day 21

As usual I reached the school at 9.15am and signed the register. I had substitution on second, fifth and sixth period and had my concerned class during the third period in 9C.I taught them the chapter Acids, bases and salts and showed them a video clip regarding the chapter...

Day 22

I reached the school at 9.15 am and signed the register. I had discipline duty in the morning and then I went to substitution classes in 8D, 8B and 9A along with my concern class in 9C. As usual the last bell rang by 3.30 pm, after the National Anthem. I left the school compound after making sure all students left the campus.

Day 23

Today we the teacher trainees conducted the STEP exam upon the request of the teachers. On 12:00m pm the exam was over and we went to our own classes.Today there was a staff meeting from 2:00 pm onward. We the teacher trainees had discipline and class duties on different floors. After the meeting the school dispersed and we left the school by 3:45 pm.

Day 24

Reached the school as usual and looked after the discipline duty. I had my concerned class in the fifth period and I conducted the Diagnostic test.

Day 25

I reached the school at 9.15 am and signed the register. I had discipline duty in the morning and then I went to substitution class in 8D. I gave them some chemical elements activities and later went to my concerned class to gave some notes.

 I was taken the coordination compounds for the first cognitive map and I splitted the chapter into various topics terms in coordination compounds, Nomenclature, Isomerism, Werner's theory, Valence bond theory, shapes of compounds, Crystal field theory, Magnetic properties,Colour of complexes and application of coordination compounds . This topics were contained various sub topics and they are interrelated. I was selected the topics for another cognitive map was Redox Reaction and divided the topics into Oxidation, Reduction, Rules for arranging oxidation number, competitive electron transfer reaction, Types of redox reactions, Electochemical series, Balancing methods of redox reactions, Application, Redox reactions in daily life .These topics were contained various sub-topics and were interrelated. This unit is discussed about various redox reactions.

TEACHING PRACTICE SECOND PHASE - WEEK 6

    TEACHING PRACTICE SECOND PHASE -WEEK 6 15/07/24 to 19/0724            On the first day we reach the school by 9.15 am. After signing the register I went to discipline duty. First period I take class in 8C and I teach them the topic  "Reference body  ". Fourth period I take substitution in class 10D. After lunch break in fifth period I take class in 8E and conducted a achievement test.Seventh period I take substitution class in 9D.After 3:30 the Bell rang and students leave the school. After that we sign the register and leave school at 3:45 pm.            In second there is no class due to public holiday Muharam.            In third day we reach the school by 9.15 and sign the register. First period I take attendence in 8C. In the second period was also free for them . Then I taught them the topic distance and displacement.Third  and fourth period I get a free period in...
