 TEACHING PRACTICE SECOND PHASE  _ WEEK 1


10/06/2024 MONDAY to 15/06/2024 SATURDAY 

     Our  second phase teaching practice is at Govt.H.S.S, Yeroor.The Principal of Sabarigiri College of Education, allotted total eight students to our school. I and Febin from Physical Science, Neethu from Natural science,Thalhath, Gayathri and Lakshmi from English and Ninu and Gopika from Social Science . All of our teachers in charges, especially Prathibha teacher provided us with all necessary instructions, guidance and support for completing our teaching manual, selecting activities for models for teaching and preparing teaching aids for teaching practice.


Reflection on School experience
            First day  the teacher trainees alloted to Govt.H. S. S Yeroor , reached school right at 9.15am , and the letter and register hand over to the school H. M Praseetha teacher. Then signed our register and we stayed in our alloted classroom.I collected timetable from the chemistry teacher Syamily and praseetha teacher. The teachers gave me 8C (English medium) and 8E( English medium) as my concerned class and 9E was given for substitution class.
Second period I got substitution on 9C.The teacher had given work to the students . I did it with the students. Third and fourth period i take substitution class in 9 B . After luch break I take class in 8E and teach them the topic ' Matter' from the unit properties of matter . At 3.30 the bell rang and students going out after that we signed the register and leave the school.
      In second day we reached the school at sharp 9:15 am and signed the register. Today 
I have concerned period,8C. So I teach them the topic 'length and smaller units of length'. The police officers were conducting the test for SPC selection ( eighth standard ) for third period school children from outside. So i have the duty to check the answer sheet given by Rajith sir (physics ). Fourth period i take substitution class in 10C. After lunch break their is a staff meeting for UP teachers during sixth period. So I take a substitution class in 6B and conduct a game. Seventh period I take substitution in 8A. At 3.30 the bell rang and students going out after that we signed the register and leave the school at 3:45 pm.
       In third day we reached the school at sharp 9:15 am and signed the register. First and second period I take substitution class in 9 C.I gave the note of IT as per the instruction of the teacher.  After lunch break I substitution class in 9B .At 3.30 the bell rang and students going out after that we signed the register and leave the school.
          In fourth day we  reached the school at sharp 9:15 am and signed the register. First period I take class in 8E and taught them the topic 'tiny particles in matter  Third period I am going to take class in 8C but majority students are going to attent SPC exam so I didn't take the class. After lunch break we done a duty.There was a post made about child labour.We hung all the posters made by the students in front of the office.Then at 3:30 pm school dispersed m
      In fifth day we reached the school at sharp 9:15 am and signed the register. First period I take class in 8C and taught them the topic 'thickness of paper'. Second period I take substitution class in 9B. After lunch break fifth and sixth period I take substitution class in 8A. During that time higher secondary scouts and guides team conduct awareness speech about the impact  of alcohol and drugs. Seventh period I take substitution class in 10A.At 3.30 the bell rang and students going out after that we signed the register and leave the school at 3:45 pm.
      Sixth day is working. In this day class conducted as per the timetable of monday.  In sixth day we reached the school at sharp 9:15 am and signed the register. Second period few of us did the duty of constructing the timetable of all high school teachers in chart paper for H. M.If the PSC exam was in the afternoon, left school at 12 noon.

    TEACHING PRACTICE SECOND PHASE -WEEK 6 15/07/24 to 19/0724            On the first day we reach the school by 9.15 am. After signing the register I went to discipline duty. First period I take class in 8C and I teach them the topic  "Reference body  ". Fourth period I take substitution in class 10D. After lunch break in fifth period I take class in 8E and conducted a achievement test.Seventh period I take substitution class in 9D.After 3:30 the Bell rang and students leave the school. After that we sign the register and leave school at 3:45 pm.            In second there is no class due to public holiday Muharam.            In third day we reach the school by 9.15 and sign the register. Cognitive Map

 I was taken the coordination compounds for the first cognitive map and I splitted the chapter into various topics terms in coordination compounds, Nomenclature, Isomerism, Werner's theory, Valence bond theory, shapes of compounds, Crystal field theory, Magnetic properties,Colour of complexes and application of coordination compounds . This topics were contained various sub topics and they are interrelated. I was selected the topics for another cognitive map was Redox Reaction and divided the topics into Oxidation, Reduction, Rules for arranging oxidation number, competitive electron transfer reaction, Types of redox reactions, Electochemical series, Balancing methods of redox reactions, Application, Redox reactions in daily life .These topics were contained various sub-topics and were interrelated. This unit is discussed about various redox reactions.
